Season's Greetings (paper tearing)

Hi, everyone!
Finally I finished a card for Hero Art's 'Papertearing' challenge this week (October 19th - October 25th). Actually I made a card for HA challenge for the first time in about a couple of weeks.

Originally I'm not good at taking torn paper into the cards. Especially, it's difficult for me to combine it with Hero Arts stamp images. But I made this to use vellum paper and masking tapes made by Japanese Washi paper, since I could get some imaginations from the articles on HA blog.

Here is my card, 'Season's Greetings (paper tearing)'.

And this is a closeup.
*The coloring on vellum are all copics.
While looking these photo, I'm think about whether the blue masking tape is needed or not. There was one more blue masking tape on a diagonal line, and I changed it to the circle shaped die cut, the star image was heat-embossed. I was better that I changed it to lighter color, or took off both, maybe... (???)
Anyway, what I'm convinced is 'I need the time quite a while for thinking about the finished work.' :(

a card for Card Patterns #37

Hi, everyone!
I've been spending busy days. BUT!!!
But today is Saturday here, and it's been about two weeks and finally enjoying my weekend holidays. I played on the internet after I came home at midnight yesterday from biz-trip.

And happened to know this sketch at Card Patterns #37 . I was so interested in it! Because I haven't ever made any card like this design.
So I started to think about a few design for the card soon. This was literary a challenge for me, and also my first attempt to send my card to Card Patterns.

Here is my result. I used Coluzzle oval template to cut the shape.

And this is a closeup view.

*Used several Perfect Pearls for the tree.
And I also submitted this to 2Peas 'SOF09 - Earth Challenge' hosted by Suzz (aka stampersuzz) on Oct 25th.

Tule lace doiry (2) -

 んん~? 終わりは近いようで遠い!かな? 昨夜は少し飛ばして、只今第3コーナーの中間といった所です。第3コーナーを全部完了させれば良かったのですが、眠たくって眠たくって・・。「途中で止めたら大変な事になる!」の思いが半分、しかし、睡魔の方が勝ってしまい、ZZZ・・・。 それで、この写真は、第2コーナーを回ったあたりです。 ^^;
Kちゃんから頂いたHorseshoe(緑色の馬蹄形のもの)、とても重宝しています♪ Kちゃん、ありがとう!!!

Hi, there!
I've been spending busy time every day since October began. I can hardly make time for paper crafting. Because I have many biz-trips to move using public transportation - mainly airplanes and trains. Escaping the messy inks etc. is necessary.  So I enjoy needleworks or knitting while moving. And after coming home, I continue to knit the bobbin lace doiry. But even if I make time for it, it's only about 10 - 15 minutes per day. *sigh* :(
In these days, I long for the days I can do paper crafting...

Thanks for stopping by!
