Arigato (Thanks card)

Hi! I've been busy on my work since May has begun. :(
But I do wanted to entry the 'GoGreen' challenge of the Hero Arts, this week. Because I always think and do for saving energy.
So I took 2 hours only tonight for making a card by using wrapping papers for the flowers, the confectioneries' package or wrapping paper, calenders, A4 size envelopes which I received and kept for recycling.

This is the card, 'Arigato (Thanks card)'.
The Asian Frames is actually a left over items. (I made it before, but I didn't use it.)
The Dots and Flowers was Heat embosseing with white powder on a flower photo calender of 2008, the washi papers that are red, dark purple, and black are the Japanese Sweets's packages. I rolled up and made them like sticks. (Only red paper was heat-embossed with gold.)
The image of this design is 'hair accessories'. The Asian Frames is likened to a chignon cap, and 3 rolled paper sticks and a yellow paper are likened to ornamental hairpins.

Hi! Finally Sunday evening, I could took my time for creating.
So I made this gift set (card, box, and paper bag) to join the Hero Arts 'Dots' challenge.

I used white paper for the card front, dark brown for the back. The paper bag is also 2-tone.

I Appreciate You (Misty Garden)_inspired by Lin

Tonight, I made this one inspired by Lin's card. Lin is well known to everyone in the HA Flickr group, and she is just a lady in the news. - She creates so elegant and soft works, and has amazing skill of cutting works. she is really one of a busy stamper. I've been admiring her talent since we met.
She made a lovely card for me taking on one of my cards, and introduced mine the other day. (I was so surprised and HAPPY!).
So I made this card with my BIG THANK YOU to her by using the same two stamp she showed us in 2 works (The one is here, and the other is here.) in the past.
The Inkadinkado's bird stamp is the one I've got it at almost the same time when she opened her work to the public on the web, and I didn't use it at all at that time.
Thanks for the inspiration, Lin!!! I've been enjoying to use this combination many times since I saw your work. (I tried another background stamps - other manufacturer's included -, but I've ever found the combibation better than this.)

This is the card,
'I Appreciate You (Misty Garden Pattern)_inspired by Lin'.

*I thought about quite a while whether I opened this card to the public or not, because this one is very close to her work. But I wanted to express my appriciation to her. So I opened this one on this blog and the Flickr.

This is a closeup view.
Three flowers I put is a part of the Misty Garden Pattern. I use the Distress inks with water for almost the coloring on the stamped image, only the light dull green color is watercolor pencil.
I put the VersaMark Dazzle Chanpagne with the medium of Copic here and there.

Thanks card (Asian Elements)_inspired by Tiffany

Made this card inspired by Tiffany and for her. Tiffany is the lady whom I'm so interested in - I was thinking about it's so difficult for me to mimic her creative style forever. And this was really right, because I tried to take it in my creation this time, but I couldn't.
She made a fantastic card for me taking on one of my cards, and introduced mine. (I was really happy!).
So I made this card with my BIG THANK YOU to her by using the flower stamp she used it many times in the past.

This is the card, 'Thanks card (Asian Elements)_inspired by Tiffany'.
I did a little sanding after the curl dry-embossing on the soft adobe color paper, and distressing with foam brush to have this an aged look.

You Make Me Smile (Fern)

I joined the stamp camp week 4 at the 2Peas about a week ago. - Ms. Jennifer McGuire's 'stamping on fabric' class.
This was my first attempt of heat embossing on fabric. I wanted to express the wind and the light of the southern island onto this card, so I used this stripe weave ribbon.
This is the card, 'You Make Me Smile (Fern)'.
The heat embossing part is on a khaki green moire stripe ribbon - this ribbon is 2" wide. And stameped with StazOn Teal Blue ink on a linen ribbon and frayed the edge a little.

ONE OF A KIND (Flower)

May has come in Japan.
Made this card for the Hero Arts weekly challenge as usual. The theme for this week is 'May flowers'.
I use the opposite colors for flowers and leaves which we can see them in the world of nature. Haha.

ONE OF A KIND (Flower)

This is details.

Technique I used, etc:
I just only stamping the one flower in both ways - a flower stamp is from the Printed Flowers set.
One is stamped it with Broken China distress ink on a beige color paper. And the other is heat embossing on the same paper (the embossing powder is Sea Foam by Ranger Adironduck's).
I combined them with Prima paper flowers and the QK's die-cut leaves.
There's a partly stamping the manuscript stamp on the leave.

stamp used:
HA clear design Printed Flowers / CL290
HA SE: Artistic Windows / LP128
HA clear design All Occasion Messages/ CL272

paper:
