a Window card - Sending Warm Wishes

Finally, spring comes here. Trees are starting to sprout new leaves. Those are really fresh and beautiful. And, many birds are singing outside!

I made a card yesterday night for this week's challenge of the Hero Arts. The project theme is 'window'. - creating cards, scrapbook pages, or objects with a window on it.
But, my idea was so humble... Originally, I love the scene at the window, the shape of window frames or windowpanes.
So, I made a card which scene is at the window near the big tree. Oh yes, I wanted to express my 'early spring'.

This is the card, 'a Window card - Sending Warm Wishes'.
The round small table was made by
--- using a part of the cake plate from the birthday cake stamp for the table top, and the decorative border stamp for the table legs, those stamps are from the Celebrate All Day Clear stamp set.

This is a close-up view around a flower vase and a bird cage.

the Hero Arts
the Inkadinkado
the Stampington & Company
Stamper Anonymous
Stampendous

Merci - Thanks card & Easter card

I made 2 cards for the last week's challenge of the Hero Arts.
Recently, I begin to make them in weekend... I can't make time for thinking about the images for the theme. :(

This is the card 'Merci - Thanks card'.

Ranger Distress Ink/ Shabby Shutter
Tsukineko VersaMagic / Sahara Sand, VersaFine / Onyx Black
Watercolor pencils
Accessories:

And this is a 'Happy Easter card:'

I stamped the Pattern Egg stamp with 3 chalk inks. (I used the Soft Blossom ink for the cracked egg. Because, I wanted to keep the balance of the chick shape, I slightly colored around the edges with a dye ink.)

HA Sparkle Clear: Happy Greetings / CL180

paper: Bazzill Basics Cardstock
Ink & embossing powder:
HA Shadow Ink / Soft Sand, Blossom

This photo shows you the tree named 'the Prunus-japonica-Thunb', belongs the Rosacese. The diameter of this flower about 1/2". I took this pic a few days ago in our garden.

Paint Palette shape card

I had many things which I had to do last week. So, I wasn't gonna join the weekly challenge. But, yesterday's morning, I began to think about a few shapes to entry the challenge of the Hero Arts'. The limit is Sunday 11:59 PST. But here in Japan, it is on Monday 16:59.
The theme of the challenge was 'shapes'. We had to begin thinking its 'shape', apart from the traditional ones.
"Oh, what kind of shape should I create!???", this has been occupying 70% of my brain on its limit day. (I was not exaggerated. Actually I didn't think out at all, because I wasn't gonna join it. I visited the Frickr's Heroarts' pool..., I could see so many wonderful, creative and unique shape cards! I was almost overwhelmed. Really...) I began to make a card after taking my lunch. And finally, I finished this at when 2 hrs before the limit.
This is the card 'Paint Palette shape card'. (The reason why I selected this shape is my experience of the oil painting.)
Explanations: I use two heart shape stamps for colors on a palette, and the part of wood grain stamp for the point of a brush. The reason why a butterfly on a palette is... this was true story of my art class when I was a high school student, to go outside (a small forest) for drawing. A beautiful butterfly came and stayed my palette while a few minutes.
stamp used: HA Se: Artistic Windows / LP128 (use only woodgrain stamp for the blush) HA Heart Winged Butterfly / F5158 HA DA: Pattered Hearts / LP124 HA clear design Hugs N Heart / CL301 HA clear design All Occasion Messages/ CL272
This is another photo in different angle.(This photo's color is closer to the actual card.)
paper: HA Kraft, American Craft and Bazzill Basics Cardstock Basic Grey / Urban Prailie (for the heart shapes) Ink & embossing powder: Memories Dye Ink / White HA Shadow Ink / Soft pool, sand Ranger Distress Ink/ Tea Dye, Antique Linen Ranger Liquid Pearl / Petal Pink, Gold, Baby Blue Tsukineko VersaMark, Embossing Powder / pearl Tsukineko VersaFine / Spanish Moss Accessories: HA button, Basic Grey buttons, ribbon

3rd card in March 'Hip Hop Hooray'

Today, I'm very sleepy. But I hadn't made a card for the Hero Arts' weekly challenge, 'littlethings'. So I began to make it 3 hours before the limit. I uploaded the finished one to the flickr 2 minutes before the limit. (It was 17:00 in Japan)!
I have to make dinner from now on, but I'm still sleepy. And I don't want to make it.
What should I do???

This is the card.
I made this card using 'tiny tiny circle clear stamp has the heart-shape hole in the center' from the Clear Design 'Hugs N Heart ' on the 'Raindrop Background' stamp image,
and also using tiny 'Assorted Sequins' on the 'Pop Stems' image.
And the last, put 3 frogs from the 'Lilypad Greeting' set.

How I made the lower half, etc:
After stamped the Raindrop Background stamp with white dye ink, overstamped the tiny circle clear stamp has the heart-shape hole in the center with VersaMark and heat-embossed with clear embossing powder.
And then, I colored the place which a heart -shape hole in the circle with red and white crayon pencils. One is red colored heart, and the others are white.
Paper I used is 'Kraft'. I bought it at the HA Online shop the other day and I use this kraft paper at the first time.
Upper half Area, 'Hip Hop Hooray' was heat-embossed with black embossing powder.

this is a closeup.

RENEWing my website 'graphideart.com' now...

Renewing my web site is ongoing. Today I found the BLOGGER can be published in both English and Japanese! Encording is 'Unicode (UTF-8)'.
Wow! :) But why I didn't notice this earlier? I wrote all the posts in English only from last October. I'm going to add sentences in Japanese later.

Happy event for me!

I was selected as the second place winner on the Hero Arts' weekly challenge, 'Win a Day Challenge', held on last week.
I knew this result on March 6th in here. This was an unbelievable incident, but happy event for me!

*I forgot to publish this post. I still don't use this blog well.

Totally Special'
